Lockdown started as I was finishing the first year of my Creative Writing MA. My freelance work dried-up and, as I didn’t qualify for student finance, I couldn’t see a way to fund the second year. So I put my studies on hold.
During my first two semesters I had written a lot of stories. The two pieces I submitted for assessment were marked ‘with merit’. The other pieces didn’t get marked. Most of my work I have entered for one competition or another – but they are impossibly hard to win, so they are ‘Mostly Unpublished’.
In general those who have read them have said nice things about them. So, in order to try and fund the final year of my MA, I’ve decided to try to sell them online and raise the money I need to pay my fees. The cost of a story starts at 49p each. Please support me – who knows you might be doing literature an enormous favour. Then again you might not, but we can all live in hope!

He now divides his time between being a journeyman creative and working on his novel and screenplay.
